Bridge - to global citizenship
What We Do
Bridge is an English language school for children from 0-9 years old, with a curriculum based on the latest research in language acquisition and neuroscience.
Industry
Education
Color Preferences
Strong, vibrant colors that appeal to children. Bright primary or secondary colors are best. Black, gray, and tan are not suitable.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our curriculum is based partially on neuroscience, so we would be open to something that evokes brain development in children. If you use a bridge, we like the design of the Tsukuda Bridge in Toyko (http://www.k2.dion.ne.jp/~jun-home/LOVELOG_IMG/08-9-29.jpg), but is does not have to be this one.

It's good to see such nice designs so quickly!

We would like to focus on designs that look good even if they are small, like on a website or embroidered on a polo shirt. This means that maybe an emblem design is not the best for our needs.

We like how several designers have put the emphasis on "Bridge" and put "English School" in a smaller font. (E.g.#12, #1, #16)

I updated the brief to reflect that we can't use a flag in the logo because our teachers are from many different countries. Thanks!

We like the more playful fonts, such as in #19, #23, and #9. Those more rounded ones seem child friendly, yet still appropriate for all ages.

We like the sense of depth in the bridge designs in #35 and #19. It helps us convey the idea that our school will take students to a new and exciting place.

The Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo might be a good model because it has a very simple design (http://hide-1029.blogzine.jp/risky/images/199211.jpg).

We like the designs with actual bridges in them, even if they are very stylized.

Designs where the name and the image are easily separable are also appealing to us. We may need to use them separately in the future, so it is good to have that option.

The font style of #35, #19, #55 are the right kind of shape we are looking for. Slightly rounded and playful, but still serious enough to convey professionalism.

We like the contrast of orange and blue than many designers have submitted, but other high-contrast color combinations are also welcome. Of course, we prefer colors that are appealing to children and are very bright (like the blue in #12).

If you use the slogan, please take out the "Bridge -" part. It should just read, "To Global Citizenship."
