I am thinking Wall Street, sophisticated, an investment firm. Although I like serif fonts and feel like that's the way to go, I am worried that the overall weight and presence of the logo could we weak when grouped with other logos if the font is to thin. In one of the sample logos that I chose, there was a drop shadow behind the letter that gave it some bulk. I had the same concern it I were to put the logo over a photo to brand it, if the letters are too thin, you wouldn't be able to see the logo.
