I like the simplicity behind the design, and the detailing behind the Character design, however there are a few details such as the hat that I don't think fit in with the legend as I know it. I like the direction you're taking this character, but i'd prefer one with a bit more detailing and color. I don't know if this is changeable but we're also looking for a neutral background or something which could seamlessly blend into the header of our website. I really like the Shield!
Thank you for your detail feedback. You're right, the Shield really the main concept I've offer. The way it blended to the text make the logo look strong. However, frankly I am afraid by using more than one color can decrease its strong look. I'll prepare it asap, however. So you can compare them by yourself.
Anyway, since it's a detail work and I am sure the shield concept is really strong for you to have long lasting logo(based on my experience so far), will you consider to increase the prize? Thank you for advance.
Update work. Adding some swooshes to make the warrior looked more dynamic. Hope you like it. Thanks anyway for increasing the prize. I'll do the rest for you.
I'm sorry that we haven't been active on this site lately, Ive been sick over these past few days and haven't been able to post comments. I just saw your work and still believe the original black and white design to be the best so far, that being said I'd like to have a slightly moe dynamic character with a bit more prominence in the logo and a font that doesn't look so mechanical yet still modern enough for a website (cross between Lord of the Rings & Helvetica). We were looking for a character while definately strong in the way you drew him to be me more lively and come alive as it where adding to the mythology of the site as a whole. I understand the point you made about one color being more adaptable, but I still feel like we're looking for a more lifelike color scheme (not just the same basic design with different color variations) Again we appreciate the work and creativity!
It's fine. I hope you getting well now. Based on your latest opinion, I plan to rework the warrior to make it more fit to your expectation. Of course I do it also to the text as well. Since I may need more times to finish the character, I hope you don't mind to wait. Thanks.
Jon (The other Breogam owner) - I like the small swoosh you added and I like the color effects with the second green-colored entry (green, white, and some black). However, I have re-arranged the entries into ranked vs non-interesting based on what we're looking for (see above owner comments). Your efforts are very much appreciated.
First and foremost, thank you very much for your efforts. We really appreciate all the work that you've done and your attention to detail that you've displayed.
Unfortunately, we've decided that none of your submissions are really what we're looking for. We don't want to lead you on and think that tweaking your core design in some way will result in a won bid.
Ian you have the right idea with this logo, though we may be looking for a simpler overall look to it. I would also like you to reconsider the font choice and background, though i've got to applaud the fact that you found the character that we've long been looking for!

Hi Jon, After all effort I've done before (even I failed at that time), I found that there are no other way to gave up :) Even you already said in public message that you may gave us wrong directions, I did not think so. I used much times to learnt about Breogan including its statue style. I also knew a basketball team used the same name which use lyon as their logo. So here it is, result of my research last couple days. Breogan, the lion warrior... I try to do my job as well as possible here in your contest, maybe including to make you sure that you never give us any kind of wrong direction. Thank you - ian.
We like the designs and you are definitely in the running! We would like to see a couple of adjustments if you are able.
1. Can you put the logo to the left of "Breogam" 2. Change the background color of the shield (behind the man) to all green, vs. green and red it is now. 3. Can you enlarge the man in relation to the shield? (ex. the man in entry 130).
So what we would like to see is the logo left of breogam (so the logo will probably be a bit smaller than it is now), the background within the shield, all green, and the man a bit larger compared to the shield (like entry 130).
If you have any questions about the requests please let us know.
