Celtic inspired 'shield' design, symbolizing the warrior using a triskelion.

Hi,

Like the design, like the symbol you used. As you can see, your design is the front runner for now. We are still considering all submissions, since there is a significant amount of time left in the contest.

If you have any other ideas and would like to show us, feel free to submit those. If you have any questions, just leave a comment and we will get back to you shortly.

Thank you.

Good morning. :-)

I appreciate that my design is being considered. I added two more variations, one with more 'texture' (slight drop shadow on the designs) and in case you were interested, a 'web 2.0' emblem as well. Shiny. :-)

I'm working on a Celtic warrior, and thus far, my drawing looks more like Charles Manson wearing a beanie. :-) So, still developing that concept! Haha!

Talk to you soon,
Desiree

Hi Desiree,

They look great, thanks for continuing your work.

As far as the warrior, if you figure them out, we'd love to see it. If not, that's okay too. You probably don't want to submit a celtic warrior that does not look like a celtic warrior. lol

Just fyi - My co owner is at work right now so the ranking shuffle will continue.

Thanks,
Breogam - Jon

This one has slightly smaller grommets. Also, another color variation.

Desiree,

As you can see, we've re-arranged the rankings again. One of your designs is the new number one (replacing your old number one). The new number one, we like this design.

If you could consider these adjustments below, we would really appreciate it.

1. The design you did with the all purple and gold shield - We really like the contrasting look that the darker purple combined with the gold trim gave.

2. About the new number one entry of yours (the reddish and purple shield) - we really like the smaller circles on the outer border of the shield (vs the outer border filled with many circles)

3. Colors - We like the effect of the fading red to purple shield. We would like to see the same effect except replace the red in the center with a slightly dark green and the purple on the outer edges with black. So, the shield would look like: a slightly dark green in the center, which fades to black as you get to the outer ridge. We would like to keep the gold trim.

4. Try to add subtle 3-d tones to the image.

Thank you,
Breogam

Hi! No problem!

That is why I try to do variations of different elements in my submissions, so if you see something you like in more than one, we can combine the two elements in one logo. :-) I really fell in love with the purple as well.

I uploaded one version where it is just the shield image, so you can see the detail better. I added a lot of shading to make the metal parts look 'molded' but from far away it actually makes grommets circling the outside look smaller, because the edges fade to a darker color.

I tried two different shading tactics on the Triscalion, and on one, used just one large grommet for the center. Those are the main differences between #82 and #81.

I'm really liking your work though in speaking with my partner I haven't lost all hope for the Isolated Triscalion as a potential contender, I was thinking about a more stylized & whimsical version with a subtle hint of an auro coming out from the background... as if it were coming from behind it! Then possible one without the Auro to test the affect, but I really like the evolution of the Triscalion within the shield!

Ok, for #91, I added a stronger shadow under the triscalion centerpiece, just to give it more contrast.

As for the auro, I'm assuming you meant aura? Like a glow around it? So I submitted a couple of choices with that, one on a black background. Whimsical... well, not sure if pegged that one or not, I did submit an alternate design that looks a bit more 'rough' --- like it was hand carved into a surface.

If I think of any other ideas, I will submit them, and as always if you have any other suggestions or comments, just let me know, and I will do my best to accommodate. :-)

Hi Desiree,

Would it be possible to see a revision of entry 91? I really like the way it looks, I was thinking a bit differently on the colors.

I was thinking instead of the purple, I would like to see a slightly dark green and instead of a green aura I would like to see a different color aura (whatever you think goes well with the green, maybe white, I don't know). Lastly, for the outside border, I would like to see what a black border looks like (can't tell if it is black right now or not, if it is, never mind). I would like to continue to see the gold trim though, I like the way that looks.

Hope that makes sense. If you have any questions about my explanation definitely let me know. =)

Thank you,

Sure thing! I just uploaded a few more color choices. One, all gold even, as if it were a burnished bronze warrior shield.

Also #107 thru #109 has slightly darker edges.

Hi Desiree,

We would like to see the logo next to "Breogam Fitness" as we think it would fit better on the page of a website. If you could put the logo left of "Breogam Fitness" that would be great. I like the green shield that we've listed as number one.

Thank you,

Not a problem! I submitted the horizontal designs.

In one, I took away the 'curly' embellishments on the bottom row of text, to see if that looks better for a horizontal layout. :-)
