Hi :) - here is my concept. Sorry it's a touch late in the game...I've been thinking about this one for a few days and couldn't get a good, meaningful mark until now. (I don't like offering up initials or generic, random shapes that could work for anything) So - I was thinking about "fierceness", as well as how you're re-branding/rebuilding the company from basic ashes of the existing company - and I started thinking about a phoenix. Obviously, you don't want a strong phoenix connection - but a link to that sort of thinking could work. I came up with two variations of the same mark - it's very light-handed, but still conveys resolution in the way that it it's focused and has a fire-quality that extends a feeling of consumption/power. The fire & flight of the phoenix can also represent energy that isn't easily put-out. All in all - to me anyway - it's a very fitting mark for a rebrand.
The color palette will appeal to both men & women equally and the gradation gives it a sense of movement. that said, it also works very well in a single color - (for screen-printing, faxes, etc.) -I would choose a medium red in that case.
I did a "clean" version of the mark as well as a "fiery" version. I think both are still professional and focused...really just a preference, I suppose. I think the fiery one purports the idea of a fiery phoenix better, but that's just me :)
Thanks for your time & consideration. josh
***please note, I will be out on family vacation beginning 6/16 :)
I am really interested in this design. At first I thought it was a tail until I read your explanation. I really appreciate the time you put into this - the consideration. Also that it is in a red type palate, which is a favorite color of mine.
I'd be interested in design 54 using the main font color from 55.
Hi - saw that you extended the contest. Just letting you know that I will be away on vacation starting Thursday, so if you leave me any feedback, I won't respond due to absence.
thank you. 56 is my first choice. I'm not sure when you return but i am interested in knowing if the logo would be able to be as is and then if i could have the flame mark independently to use as a 'mark' for proposals and branding.
this is great and i'm really happy with it. would this be considered a 2 color because of gradation? or more?
