dotwoman. you were the first person to give me an abstract mark plus a word mark... I like it. can you play around with this a little?
+ not sure i like the shape of the abstract mark + colors are great + that extra line is too much, I want simple and scalable
when i see the abstract mark you created above, i'm trying to decipher and interpret it because i think you may be onto something...
if the "B" stands out in the mark, inside of the "shape" - it represents an iconic logo/brand. the "shape" that the "B" sits inside is the marinade.
what i am looking to do with Brand Marinade is take existing brands (the "B") and add something to them, albeit new sales channels, operational efficiencies, connections to new markets etc.
Ah ... thank you very much for the input. I did like the shape because it feels very like an abstract B, but I will play around with some others. Do you like the basic sans serif B inside the mark or would you like to see other versions? I will remove the line. Are you happy with the font for Brand? I love it because of the shape of the lowercase 'd'. I really like your concept for this service and am excited to work with you to get the logo you desire.
dotwoman - i def like the shape in #23 better than the others.
1) can you try using the "d" font in brand for the "b" in both the text and the logo? maybe stylize it a little so it isn't the basic font. something a little unique. 2) the word marinade should be the dark shade of green so it stands out a little more.
it's getting closer to something usable. i need it to be only 2 colors.
can you try and make the "b" in the logo whitespace. the current color combo does not work, esp when it is small.
can i also see the "b" in the same font as the "d". i feel like it will add a little symmetry. not sure though just because of the strong curve at the top of the "d"
