I tried to make my design bright and exciting, using the cherry bombs you noted in the brief, a rocket set to go off resting in the "t" and the "w" shooting up roman candles.
Hi Trying to go two for two? Ok... suggestions: First I only need one logo but I will need other graphics for product items, assortment headers so depending on the item/category I can expand this relationship/tasks into the future. Let's focus on the task at hand and what you created. It has to work on the web, on stationary, clothing. Again the word FIREWORKS is key. I like the cherry bombs and the fuse. If staying with this the comet tails may be a bit too thick. I don't like the rocket placement on top of the T.
Not sure... make Boom Town letters be homes and have the pyro going off behind in their yards. or whatever you think will appeal to male pyro hobby techno savvy shoppers. While colorful most come across as bright,busy... but not staying power impressive/ memorable on a subconscious level. thanks,
I just enjoy drawing the fireworks, it's fun stuff, so thought I'd submit to this one, too. Thanks for the feedback, and I'll see what i can come up with.
Hi Here is a possible solution. Just take your comet tail ( -go gold comet tails up instead of silver 2 sky rockets and drop them on the left side and send them over/towards the name. Keep the name as is and just play with shading the name colorwise so it goes maybe from cobalt blue to the red family. Keep away from the oranges ( too halloween) We are still on the white background so the bursts in the sky can be anything that pops- green,purple,red,blue,lime,tangerine,yellow-rainbow or what appeals to you.we want balance but not busyness. So I think we just need to work on colors. we have the material, the fonts, the basics in place now we are just working on what makes it WOW.Less is more. The sunburst is not making it for me tho I dont mind the broken firecracker. Just a fire like in the ignition site bid that wrapped up today might be better served. Not sure- you are the artist. need to capture the imagination clarity( dont want the eye too distracted, able to remember it days later ie: memorable design color's balanced- able to play off white or black background settings Thanks, Marilyn
Hi Tim- There is not a person asked who did not like your drawings for our display division fireworks of indiana. Design team and staff are fully on board with your work. Moving on to #116. We need this or any other logo on white background... no black ( for now) The words are fine- I would still add a flame coming out of the i if on a dark background. I think the issue is more the placement of the graphic portion. Try moving it a bit higher or NW. Any other logo motif- colored star bursts, falling stars, 3 D stars... stars seem to be your speciality. Letters and fuse and colors are fine. Just seeing what works for the left placement image.
Hi Marilyn, Thanks very much for the feedback. Stars it is! I understand what you mean by the letter size and I'll see what I can come up with. I was imagining that as the top of a web page when I did that one, where they would be bigger but they are too small in proportion to the aerial bombs.
Hi- See you can do it! So much better than the other attempts by you and most others at this site. Clarity wins... I believe in impacting the web audience.
Guys think Big is better so it has to be a grade bigger to be powerful/impressive with this group. And most get online without their reading glasses so we dont want to make them strain to read it.
