In #80, #81 I used two slightly different shades of deep red.
Also I added some more faded-effect to the heads.
Let me know if you like the new versions.
Thank you
I like this logo, however I think that the writing of 'Bonanova' could be of a more intense tone of red. For inspiration, look at the turquoise-yellow head sculpture I have added to the contest attachment, and try to reproduce the colour of the earrings (red). Also, I think that the faded-effect of the turbans of ceramics could be slightly improved, perhaps by adding a more striated effect? I think that was really good in the B&W version, but I understand that working with colours is different! See what you can do otherwise I'll choose perhaps the other version where the colours are slightly more pastel-like. Thanks!
Hi Pink, this is really nice. However, I thought of brighter colours for you to play with (that would imply modifying also the colours of the turbans I am afraid!) . Have a look at the two extra pictures I added for reference to bonanova's contest brief. You could play around with two colours palettes for our logo: yellow-turquoise-vermillion red (see first head added for nuances of colour) and orange-turquoise-white (see second head added). Let's see how it goes! I promise that this is my last request before deciding the winning logo :)
Here are some new colour versions, #71, #72, #73, #74.
I've changed the colour of 'Bonanova' along with the colour of the border in order to match.
If you have any another colour in mind let me know and I'll try it as well.
Hi Pink, hope you are doing well. We're close to make a logo decision here! Friends ask me whether you could try a brighter colour for 'Bonanova', I am not sure as I find this one looks quite nice..
Yes Please! Could you try another colour for the skin of the lady here? It is too similar to the creamy turban. Not too pink as otherwise it becomes like a cartoon. Thanks!!
Here's the coloured version with the old heads, #64.
I've placed the other round text, added an earring to man's head and also made his skin chocolate brown.
Would you like to try the old heads with the rectangular layout as well?
Could you also add some earrings to the moor's head (something ringed-shaped perhaps? see picture for reference). Also, I don't tremendously like the colour you chose for the complexion of the moor's head. It looks a bit greyish. Something more chocolate-looking would work better I think! Thanks and congrats!
Hi Pink, the copyright owner of the heads is my business partner and he says that it is ok to use the other heads, closer to the product's design. I also find them more beautiful and witty. Could you please provide me with the new versions with the old heads?? I spoke to the website's administrators and he says it is ok.
Hello!
First of all I want to thank you for taking care of the copyright issue.
Since I wasn't sure what was going to happen with the contest I made some new entries, #60, #61, #62, #63.
If you notice I made some changes to the heads but if you want I can use the same heads as before.
Please check the colours and the new layout and let me know your thoughts.
Hello,
Ivan, site's admin has send you a message, please read it and send him your comments.
Until then I can't upload any new drafts.
Thanks for your understanding,
Pink
Hi Pink, I have another (and last) request for you before choosing our brand's final logo :.) I really like this logo and the circular frame that contains it but I have been thinking for a while about another option that I wanted to expose to you. Feel free to tell me whether you think it might work or not. How about trying to frame the two heads in a different frame and see how it looks? I thought that the heads would look nice encapsulated in a stamp-like shape or even a simil-like banknote. Their classicism evoke something precious and emblematic, like the faces in stamps or banknotes! The logo could still be b&w. What do you think?? I'll leave to you to decide which option you find more interesting! If you get the frame right, feel free to choose the font for the name of the brand and 'by.. '' Look forward to hearing back from you.
Hi Again Pink. Could you please provide me with a coloured version of this logo, with the faces of the heads respectively in ivory (the woman on the left) and the man (right) in black? Will send you other pictures for reference so you can get an inspiration for the colours. The Turbans could be perhaps one in turquoise and the other one cream (have a look at the colours in the pictures for reference)! Let's see how it goes. I let you to sort out the background - colour of label, perhaps black would still work?
Thank you!
Hey Pink, people are liking this logo but they Made a suggestion. Could you turn it inside out with a black background and white characters/writing? If so, you could try to add ‘by Alchemia Mediterranea’ as you did in the other logo (the one I ranked as 1st) either WITHIN the circular frame in white font or OUTSIDE it in small black font. Does it make sense? Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you very much for the appreciation you show in my work.
I don't think it would be problem adding ‘by Alchemia Mediterranea’ to the logo.
Let me try it and shortly I'll upload some new versions.
Hi Pink. Well done, you’re the first ranked in our contest! Me and my business partners are very impressed with your logo. I personally like the feeling of this one, including the font you chose for the name of the brand and the circular shape of the frame. However, discussing with them, we thought of indicating in the logo the name of our larger brand, ‘Alchemia Mediterranea’. Therefore, you might add to the logo, in much smaller font, ‘by Alchemia Mediterranea’. That would have to go probably the circle. Do you think it could work or it might ruin completely the design of the logo? Also, we agreed that without crowns the logo looks nicer. I’ll leave it up to you to choose the font, or perhaps to experiment with different ones. Thanks.
Here are two new versions in which I've added the crowns and used different fonts, #33, #34.
Let me know if you found a font that you like.
Thank you,
Pink
You could try a version with the crown that would be great thanks! Aldo, could you try to experiment with another font for the writing of ‘bonanova’? I am going to look later if I find one that I like.
I am glad you like it!
Since your business is about handcrafted ceramics I tried to give a more sophisticated style.
Would you like to add a decorative border like in my other concepts?
Thank you,
pink
Good. Also, we would need to sort out the colours as I feel there is not enough contrast with the choices you made now. The logo needs to stand out! Would you provide me also with a b&w version of the logo please?
Very nice pink! I really like the decal-effect of your logo. Bearing in mind that the logo will be used mainly on the website and on orders and invoices for the time being! I’d be happy to get rid of ‘italian handcrAfted ceramics’. Something could be done to improve the expression of the faces of the heads, a bit more smiling. They don’t have to be identical to the original!
Hello,
Please check my concepts #28, #29 and let me know your comments.
The versions I've made are coloured but they can easily be converted to B/W if you wish.
Thank you,
Pink

Maybe at this stage it's better to show you b&w versions instead of colour versions.
