Hi Everyone, Thanks for the great ideas in the last 24 hours! I am really enjoying the creative concepts that you are posting. I think in general, the first few entries are nailing the color scheme and some of the most important elements of celebrating my 40th. Go ahead and get a little more sexy, let out your inner Brr-yaa-yaa! (but keep it sexy, sultry, not... slutty - I want my grandmother (85) who still is an awesome dancer to see these invitations and not freak out.) I listed #18 as first, because, I like the concept of adding the woman to the design, however, it would be great to see this changed to a mermaid. I know mixing mexicana/chicana with a mermaid might seem a little strange, but it is pretty common in San Diego - think Acapulco or Cabo San Lucas. I am ranking #20 and #14 as the 2nd place concept idea. The loteria card idea is wonderful! I love the fonts used but I would love to see a mermaid in there somehow. I love #17, the mermaid in the wine glass and the palm tree & lowrider car are all awesome details! I would be interested in seeing the fonts in all old english style, the colors more limited to my suggested ones.

I almost can't decide between #21 and #24. Both are beautiful, and have the feeling, the joy, and the sexy look that I am hoping for. For #21 can we try just a little more curvy lines for the banner?

For #23, I love the colors! However, I prefer your heart from your first design - it is a little more rock and roll - a little more salsa. And can I just tell you? the font you choose for "bojie" is totally, totally amazing - great choice!!!!
