This is a bit too casual, I want something that says upscale, high end. I don't paticularly care for the font or the graphics around the side, I can see where you are going with the design it just needs a some refining, I think. If I am making sense, I am not that great with graphic lingo so please forgive my articulation. I do like the Color blending as in #8, #3 and #2 with the lighter color in the center it gives it some depth and a nice finishing touch. I am going to take down the portion of the design explanation that I stated I didn't want anything too literal. I may be closing the door to some great designs that play off the name.
#16 reminds me too much of a bakery, that is my first thought when I see the logo. I like your use of color fade especially when it fades to white it really draws your eye that direction. Can you take a look at The Cake Bar link I provided. In this logo the wording goes over the side of the circle and doesn't look as confined, I also like the airiness of the logo. It portrays a look of natural, elegance, and unique all in one, I am going for something based around that. It also doesn't have to be an enclosed emblem I am open to a different design as well.
