Color Preferences

I have been using a lot of soft yellows and olive tones with my new website, but I am up for anything.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

I would like to have a mark in the shape or outline of a crow that can run separate of the logo. The mark should artsy and flowing, but very simple. It does need to be able to look good in black and white as well as color.

A pallet of crows and outlines I have found or drawn, ranked by preference 1-best; 6-worst; http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/tarabol/logo-1.jpg

Wow! I can't believe how quickly some of you have created logos!

I just added this above, but I will also add it here; I would like to have a mark in the shape of a crow that can run separate of the logo. The mark can be artsy and flowing. It doesn't just have to be the silhouette of a crow.

I really want to stress that I'd like a logo make it possible to keep single common element, aka the crow mark, then change some other part depending what how and what I am marketing.

Thanks again everyone! I can't wait to see more!

I just want to say again that I am really looking for a logo that can be taken apart and still hold its branding. One of the other contests, Eric Bakken, is getting logos that are more along the line of what I had in mind. I do like #8 as it is the first original looking crow. I have played in the past with plenty with tons of clipart crows and find they tend to look pretty stationary and dull. Please have fun and make a new crow. I would love something that is flowing and stylish. I also do like the clean simple look of #3. Thank you all!

Hi All!
This is so awesome! I am very excited to finally see a couple logos that meet the style I had in mind. #24, #25, #27, and #29 all have the crow(although is does look a bit like a dove) separate from the wording. I plan to turn the crow part of the logo into a wax stamp for branding purposes, plus I will watermark it into my images, put it on postcards and often run it separate of the wording with hopes that the crow symbol will be recognizable alone. I also like those four because they are elegant, clean and in my mind quite tasteful. I am starting the think that as designers you are basically expected to read your clients mind and I understand how hard that can be! Please feel free to contact me with questions and thoughts!

I also do love the artistic crows in #30, #8, #34 and #22.. I loved the crow foot in #28 but I am pretty stuck on the crow silhouette. Thanks everyone! I love see all of your work! There is some incredible talent in this arena!

I know I am repeating myself but I really am feeling that there are very few logo's that meets my requirement of a simple separate mark.

#70 is the first to truly meet the goals i have in mind. I would really like to see more variations.

I like a number of the logos in the contests for Eric Bakken and Bianca Design.

I really want to thank everyone for the incredible work that has poured in! I am really having a hard time deciding on a favorite! Please don't take my rating too seriously as I am still trying to make up my mind and switching around quite a bit. Once again thank you all for the top notch designs!

Man, that's a nice logo #70 ! Despite the "crow" theme, I don't feel any sadness, but there's intimacy and happiness shining out of the graphics. Nice! Very nice!

Thanks Paull, it gives immense pleasure when a fellow designer gives a positive review about your work and appreciates it so much. Thanks once again.

Hey all! I just really wanted to thank everyone for the incredible entries!! I can't even begin to describe how pleased I am with the results and final outcome! I couldn't even pick! I had to set up a poll to let my friends and favorite clients pick! I really can't say enough about the top four and I really liked the entire top nine! Five through 9 only fell out because I struggled with usability and timelessness. Once again, Thank you all!
