So I'm writing right now to say that whatever the ranking happens to be when the first round is over, you are considered one of our finalists. I will be moving down the list any color variations on this design, but that doesn't mean it's out of consideration. Even if you find yourself ranked outside the top designers scheduled to move on to the second round, please do not withdraw your designs. I still have to present all of my "finalists" to my boss and management team for their input. Even if you're currently ranked 25th, your design could ultimately be the one chosen in the end. Again, I think it'd be nice to give that bluff shape some dimension as well.

I like this. I think something needs to change with the bluff, though. With the dimension you've added with the S, it feels like the bluff needs a little dimension.

I think this is a great concept. However, its current form looks too playful/juvenile for our purposes. We're trying to convey more sophistication with the design. Can you adjust some elements to achieve that? Perhaps remove the squinting eyes and try the bluff shape in grey?
