So I'm writing right now to say that whatever the ranking happens to be when the first round is over, you are considered one of our finalists. I will be moving down the list any color variations on this design, but that doesn't mean it's out of consideration. Even if you find yourself ranked outside the top designers scheduled to move on to the second round, please do not withdraw your designs. I still have to present all of my "finalists" to my boss and management team for their input. Even if you're currently ranked 25th, your design could ultimately be the one chosen in the end. Thank you so much for all the work you've put into this contest, and please keep these designs on the board!

This is going to apply to several designs you just shared: I like the balance and feel of all of these, but the way the smile is incorporated into the "s" isn't quite working. It almost translates as a devil's tail. Think something else is needed.
This is an interesting take. I like the balance. We want to move away from a cursive script though. Can you update with a new font and a different way to incorporate the smile?
Could you try this version without the cursive Smiles and the smile swoop? Also, can you see how the bluff image would look with the corners of the smiles added (see markup tools)?
I think I like this look the best of the recent designs you've submitted. Can you play with the font on "Smiles" a little? Also, it might not be possible, but I was wondering if you could make the lines in the bluff appear more like smiles? I'll leave a markup note so you can see what I mean.
This design feels a little too much like it belongs on a sports sweatshirt, if that makes sense. The arcing name over the icon and the cursive script feel a little off the modern tone/feel we're looking for. Also, we have to reduce some of the detail on the bluff itself, since that won't translate well to printed materials and clothing.
This shows quite a bit of promise. Our biggest issue is that there's too much fine detail in the bluff. The trees and other features won't translate well to certain printed material and clothing we'll be stitching on. Can you pull back on some of that detail?
