Could we see some variations on this design, in terms of font and color? The blue-grey we're looking for is pretty much exactly what dpac79 has going in his highest ranked design. Thanks!

I might be momentarily moving some of the finalists out of the top 5 positions, but this by no means you are out of the running for the top spot. Please do not withdraw any designs.

So I'm writing right now to say that whatever the ranking happens to be when the first round is over, you are considered one of our finalists. I will be moving down the list any color variations on this design, but that doesn't mean it's out of consideration. Interesting variation, but I think the recent others are more successful.

I think this is your best design with the "S" as a river

This one is more effective than the last one I commented on.

This design has too much green, I think. The "S" as a river is a nice idea, but it's not quite executed effectively.

This is a nice design. Like the balance and clean appearance. Can you make variations on the color scheme?

This is one of the more successful designs, though. I like the balance between the bluff and the smile beneath.

This is a good, clean design. Like the color scheme, though I feel it's a little too subdued in color. We also want to have Smiles the same size as Bluffside.

Let's try to move away from this more pastel color pallet. However, I do like the overall layout and balance.

This color palate is too pastel for our purposes.

This is a solid concept, but the execution is still off somehow. Maybe a change in the shape of the bluff (that still looks a little too much like a mountain) and smile.

I don't think the tree as an "L" is working in this design.

Not a big fan of this font, nor the way that the letters have a white halo around them.

This font might be a better choice that the other one I commented on. Again, let's try it without the sun in the background and with different color options.

I think this logo would be stronger without the sun in the background. Can you take that out and make some variations on this font and color? I think we also might want to go with all caps.

Our owner wants to move away from a cursive script for the logo. Thanks for updating.

Our owner has stated that he'd like to avoid and all cursive script for the name. The design itself is solid, but we'll have to choose a different font.

I like the extra shadow in the bluff, but I worry that fine detail will get lost in printed materials and clothing.

The sun is a nice touch. For a change of pace, can you try this same layout with a different, non-cursive font?

I worry that some of the fine detail on the bluff face is going to get lost in printed and clothing materials. But I like the overall proportions and shading.

This is coming along nicely. I like that you've included some trees, and I think the overall balance of the logo is solid. Can you play with the colors and font a little?

I prefer the other font you used, and this one has too much green and not enough grey-blue.

This has a nice feel to it. I like the clean look. Can you add a little more thickness and possibly shadow to the bluff in the background?
