Hi Lambiase, I really like your submissions, very crisp, original, and nice use of Bluebonnet symbol! I like the Bluebonnet symbol in #43 and #46, but can you soften the base stem like it is in #42?
On #46, I like the use of the curved line separating Bluebonnet and landscape creations. Can you beef it up a bit, use the same Bluebonnet lettering from #45 and then beef up the Landscape Creations?
On #45 try using the bluebonnet symbol from #42, then do the landscape creations in gray
After doing the above things on #45, try a version using a cursive text instead of the printed text, like entry #29, put into the existing thick solid border
Hi Lambiase, Could you show me #51 with a light-medium gray box area down below.
Also, and I know this can get confusing with so many to look at, can you show me what it would look like to do #54 with the bluebonnet enclosed in the oval (with bluebonnet still at an angle, as well as version straight up) I really like all of the work that you have done. I may be moving some of these down a little in rankings, but only to encourage and make room for some of the other designers. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE ANY OF THEM! Thanks, Randy
Lambiase, OK, now you're just showing off! You continue to impress me. On #84 can you move the oval just a little bit closer to the bluebonnet text and can you beef up the appearance of the stems a little beneath the flowers. Also, can you do another version with the massing of bluebonnets in a half semi-circle sitting on top of the text.
I've looked at your portfolio and you dominated the Tre Olive contest. Love these entries! I also thought you should have won the Bankers Assistance Program contest with your 5th entry according to what I see the top awards are. Speaking of the Bankers Assistance Program contest, could you modify that logo in its existing format for my logo. You have already exceeded my expectations and if you don't have time I will understand. At this point, you can submit anything you want me to look at, I love your style!!! Thanks, Randy
Ok, on #94, can you let the bluebonnets splash out of the border like # 90, and move the semicircle a tiny bit closer to the text. Also, can you try a version showing a little more greenery on the stems in a small proportionally size semicircle within the semicircle. Finally, can you try a version of the bluebonnet graphic that is a little bigger, say just between the size of #90 and #94. Also like what you've done with #95! R
Sweeeet!!! Not to get too goofy, and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I feel like you are a loaded Ferrari and I am the lucky driver who get the benefits of a finely tuned "design machine". ha, ha!
OK, let's do this. On #121, slightly increase the size of the Landscape Creations font size, kind of like entry #111. Also, in addition to this, let's try a version of the box color being gray (but still faded interior) with the bluebonnet still white with tiny blue border like it currently is and a tiny blue outline around the box to set it off. Might try a version of gray box with blue bluebonnet as well.
OK, on #125, let's try making the edge of the bluebonnet, Blue instead of black, and the actual edge of the box (with no space in between) blue. If it doesn't "pop" you might try a slightly thicker blue line.
Let's then try a version with the actual bluebonnet, blue. May have to make the gray box lighter so the bluebonnet will pop. Still have a small blue outline on the box. Thanks, R
Hey Cath, sorry I'm just now getting back to you, I've been in appointments all day.
Thanks for "softening" the bluebonnets. I like the center bluebonnet in #204. Can you use this bluebonnet for entry #121. Also, I would like to work a little more on the stem portion so it looks a little less marijauna like. (sorry).
I am going to want to use my logo in many different applications: website, car/yard signs, brochures, T-shirts and golfshirts, letter head and envelopes. I realize that some of the color versions may not be able to translate into use for T-shirts. Ultimately, I will want someone to work with me on adapting these things when neccessary and even providing files that can be altered by a local designer. If you win the contest, can you provide these things, or if not, what are your limitations? Thanks, Randy
HI R I'll make those adjustments to 204 and 121. Yes, I can work with you on adjusting anything you'll need for any application you'll be addressing. No limitations:-) Thanks! Cath
Hey Cath, OK, I like the bluebonnets better. I would like to try the following things:
First, this may be hard to do without losing the identity of the bluebonnets, but on #251 can you try do arrange the bluebonnets so they are coming out of one central stem cluster.
Secondly, I would like to see the #121 concept done using the same flower in #42 (but beef up the 2 flower petals on the lower left edge.)
Thirdly, I would like to see the #121 concept done using the center flower in #251 with the flower stem of #42
