Blue SunsetLogo Design Contest

To clarify, is the name askel or blue sunset? I thought the askel/symbol were just as a reference for that symbol and the name of the logo to be done was blue sunset? apparently many others thought the same... please clarify.

regarding the icon, you can use different shapes for it, no need to be rounded, is could be more straight for example, and the icon should be more discreet, it a lot of ideas above it is too big.
as I said, remember this is a fashion brand, not a technology company, all the logos above are way too corporate, not really consumer facing, again , we are an UPSCALE fashion company, not a teenage brand, so look at brands like Ralph lauren, http://www.faconnable.com, www.tods.com, http://www.paulsmith.co.uk/, for inspiration

ok so the logo is supposed to be for "AKSEL" then what exactly is "blue sunset." also is it supposed to be in all caps?

Blue Sunset is just the legal name of the firm, not the brand for which we need a logo

Some early feedback:

#53 and #54, I like this idea of making a turtle out of the icon, I dont like too much the font used so far for the brand

I also like #67, we are getting closer to something upscale and fashion
I would like to see something else for the icon, maybe look more at the Chanel and Louis Vuitton icon for inspiration, detach it from the brand, make it more classy.

just a suggestion, since the two brands were so confusing at the beginning, to keep new designers from making the same mistake you should select all "blue sunset" logos as "not interested" then if possible change the name of the tournament to Aksel. oh and last please go ahead and start ranking the aksel logos you like. i havent resubmitted a non "blue sunset" one but the more often you rank them the more helpful it is to us to know what you like!
