#20 / #21 have an adjusted layout to soften it up even more. #20 is a single color - thought it might help to be more economical if you're making low-quantity tags / labels for various products. You could also have it made into an ink stamp and just make your own tags with scraps of flour sack or brown kraft paper.
Here's a bright color option. I saw on the sliders on your brief that you wanted to see some color and then realized I was only offering muted tones :)
Im liking what you are doing! The one with color is definatly more what we are looking for. I know this is going to sound strange, but can you make the mule head look less like a donkey? The boss lady thinks it looks to much like a donkey. Mules look closer to a horse with bigger ears and a short mane. Thank you for all your work!
Hey Josh, Can I see the head a little smaller, the "blue mule farm" part in the middle, and the "homegrown & handcrafted" part as an arch on the bottom? Giving it a circular feel to it. Keep the pretty barbed wire arching along the top. Thank you very much for your work! Ash
Will do - thanks for the feedback! Should i maybe have it a little leaner - is that what's making it look like a donkey? For the layout changes, I think I have a version I didn't upload yet that's more like that. I'll start from there. I'm about to leave for church, but when I get back I'll work on the changes. :)
Morning Josh, The ears need to be a little longer and the front of the face needs to be not so sloped. I really appreciate all the help. My mother is the final word on this project, so i apologize if the things i write might be a little nit picky. Thanks for sticking in the game!
Hey Ash - Here's a revision with the layout and an adjusted head. I trimmed it up and moved the jaw forward a little. Also moved (and enlarged) the ears a bit. I think that might have been reading as "donkey", too. Don't ever worry about coming across as nit picky; its your logo - you should have it just the way you want it!
Let me know what you all think about the head revisions - if it still needs work, that's not a problem at all :)
you guys make wine, too? That's awesome! Fruit wines, or do you have a vineyard? I do quite a bit of homebrewing of beer. I tried a dandelion wine, but it didn't work out. My hard cider is pretty good, though!
