I am working on the others first. and this one with the font from #118. But I don't understand your next request since I didn't do design 71. Will have some uploading for you in about an hour.

I'm going to add the numbers with # since it is easier for me to see them. None of the designs are numbered at a glance until we pull up the comment area.

To go over what I understand that you asked... #195 and #196 's bird you want the bird from #171. Then #171 with the font from #118.
#195 and #196 the white feather lines are a little darker in comparison to #171 but I'm working on the change for you to see. It could be my monitor. Will be able to see when I'm in the program.
Will try and have these for you in about an hour from now.

The contest ends in 18 hours. I hate to make more work for you, but could you make this one and 195 match the bird in 171? The white lines in the feathers in the wings are darker in 171 than this one.

Here's another font Nobile Medium. Was trying to find one with just a little more flair on the characters.

This one I made the copy area a little larger than others. The font is Arsenal Bold.

Thanks so much. I was thinking I would like a serif. But now I think I like a sans-serif. I'll totally get back to you about which direction. Thanks for being so great.

Here is a serif font for you.
Also, for your different applications in the future especially if you need to reduce the logo to less than 1" on any application I will need to make slight adjustments in the line thickness to ensure that they print clearly.
I can also if you ever want to print on a color background I can keep the line details white. And if you ever want to add color variation in the heron I can do that too.

Here is a new font, a san serif for clean lines.

This one I removed the horizontal line under the tail feathers so the wing feathers and head details are the only lines.

...and one horizontal format for wider areas can be used on all your applications as well as the masthead on your website.

Here are a few fonts for you and some open feeling without the background.

I am uploading a couple with a different with a san serif font and simplified layout. And we can go from there once you compare them to the others. I'm glad your image to view is clear.

I will play around with some possibilities and go back to the solid background also with a different font. I think the background anchors and balances the heron in the logo. Also, the heron can be used as a separate recognizable element placement as a website marker etc. I will work on these and have something for you in about an hour.

Dude! This is awesome. The detail on the bird is great. The color is great. The lettering layout is great. The composition/layout is great in general.

I'm not 100% on the font or the square/circle frame, any ideas for tweaking those?

I need to ask on our forum. But I think the resolution for Contest Holders is higher to save space on uploading images. But at 350 x 280 pixels the resolution is lower so the image looks blurry but the original is crisp and clear.

I am not sure why, the upload on these last ones look blurry and with extra lines not in the design. Let me know if it doesn't look clear I can reload just the illustration larger for you to see. I took in consideration your needing to print in grayscale and on a laser printer. Thank you!
