Although I do like the abstract nature of the logo's they are not a fit. At first glance #10 presented itself to me as a cat/feline, #9 reminds me of the comedy/drama mask which felt a little two faced. I want the brand to be perceived as open and not have a "good"-"bad" side. #1 seems to devilish. #11 is my favorite of the bunch but the cowbell is not angular enough and seems a bit too "holiday". I like the colors chosen but I think I would integrate a pop color somehow.
I like #12. The cow icon is much closer to what I had in my head. I wonder if the placement of group could be right justified. I like the spacing but I wonder what it would like it re-positioned.
I like the position of Group better on #13. I would like to see the color variation on Blue Cow as shown in #12. Can we also make the cows head a share of green (lime) or a pop color? You know I just saw the bars (graph) in the body.legs. That is a nice aspect I did not catch the first time I saw it.
Sorry. I think my idea was a bad one. I love the colors but I think it went too busy. I guess that is why you are the designer and not me. :) I love the Blue Cow with the contrasting blues. I like Group like you have it in #13. I think the green and the two tone cow need to be reverted back to solid cow and no green. So basically #12 except the position of group is like #13. If you have any other ideas on adding a pop color I will take them but other than that I really like what you have done here.
I like you prefer solids. I think gradients do not have the same impact. I think we are really close. With the small changes in my last set of comments we will have a good logo.
Hey ... I was sharing the logo with peers to get some feedback and the idea of seeing a variation where the head faced forward made sense. When you see the cow his behind is more prominent but would it make better sense to show the face? Would it be possible to see a version where the face is forward facing. I like the subtle nature of the face so is less about building that part of the icon out as much as it is to not show someone the backside first.
Sorry I may not have been clear in my suggestion. Is there a way to show the face so that it is on the left side and the tail is on the right side? I am still a fan of #16 as when facing backwards I like how the face is less "beefy". I find the stacked logo like in #21 a good one also. I guess it is a decision on having a vertical or horizontal logo.
Hey since you were kind enough to send new ideas, can I see #59 where Group is they grey color and maybe a tad more bold? Also is the font custom or one I can get to use in my presentations so my logo and type font match. Thanks.
Yes both fonts are commercial ones this means they are complete full character including light, regular, bold you may use any you like for your presentations, let me submit a new version based on #59 with gray bolder version on "GROUP", thank you.
Thanks ... I was struggling with the expanded vs condensed version of Group. After seeing the revised version I am inclined to go with my original gut with #38, Thanks for that help.
Good Morning ... so today I am going to choose #38 as the winner. One thing I want to be sure I am able to identify is the exact font used and the all the colors used in the logo. You do not have to tell me now but do you know if these are details that are shared once you upload the final file? Also do you post a artfile and a .pdf version? Thanks ...
Good Morning, yes all details, formats and additional versions are included and sent to the client when the contest ends, usually we as designers upload a .JPG and .EPS files here in LT's system but other different formats files are available and properly sent via email, the logo is completely illustrator vector and it can be saved in any format you may need including .PDF, and the font's name is Myriad Pro.
