my design merges two elements - the film strip and the c-clef - in order to depict the companies business. additionally the image part of the logo can also be used seperately, without the text, while still quoting the company name through the clefs similarity to the letter "B". however as the c clef is not that popular, some people might not recognize it as a symbol of music immediately. any requests/color or clef variations will be very welcome!
Thank you for your ideas, Dodi. The designs look really good, but in general the approach is too serious/elegant/refined and black/grey. It doesn't really connote the creativity and imagination involved in what we do.
I think #22 comes closest to suggesting this because of the yellow of the company name, but even this one is undercut by the graphic, which is very flat and square.
I'm also concerned about the background; is it meant to have that graduated, white-to-grey effect, or is that just a way of displaying a white background here? Because I wouldn't know how to present it on a white sheet of stationery...
I like these much, much more (#36). I like the font a lot -- it's less stuffy, but still serious.
I'm going to make a general note in the contest comments about using the treble clef, because I feel it's overused (although beautiful and powerful). So if you get a chance, I would like to see what else you can do with the graphical element.
I like the darker color on the BLOOMBABER, because I feel like the yellow doesn't pop enough. But I also like the blend of yellow and black in your graphic.
In general, I am excited about the new creative approach here.
