Thanks Kevin for entering the contest. I like how clean your logo is. I think I would prefer a burning bush in front of blaze rather than a cross.

Also out of curiosity. Is that the orange I specified? The reason I ask is that it isn't very orange on my screen. Please let me know. If it is the right correct PMS orange I will need to re-calibrate my monitor because it is coming out very light orange on my end. Thanks!

Here is a second option with a few revisions. Also wanted to confirm that I am using Pantone 179. Awaiting your feedback.

Ok entry #4 is very cool. I think all great logos should be able to have extra color but then also stand alone monochromatically like #4. This way they go on something like a coffee mug. This is nice and cheap to produce 1 color items. (But multi-color options are good for some print pieces like sweatshirts. So i get #3 too)

I wonder if you took the burning bush and placed a hint of fuchsia in it. Because I see where you are going with #3. There needs to be more color to anchor it. I am just not sure it is black. Maybe fuchsia highlights with a red highlight and predominately orange.

I see where you are going on the multi-color though. Good thinking.

Thanks again for your great feedback. Here's another option that I believe addresses your concern. Let me know if you agree or if there's anything I can do to make it a definite winner.
Thanks,
k.

I like how the plant has different highlights. Maybe it would be better if the word blaze was all one color orange. (comment reference entry #11)

Here's another option with a more stylized flame. Just thought you should keep in mind when making your final decision that logos with a vertical layouts are problematic for website design or horizontal banners (Which are the most commonly used) because you have to make the logo really small to make it fit top to bottom. Just food for thought.
