BlackJack SherpaLogo Design Contest

Hello. That can and will all be supplied. However, only 1x vector EPS and 1x JPEG is able to be supplied at the end of the contest. To supply the other files we will need to do that via email after the contest is complete. When you select me I will send you a message with my contact email (I won't post that here because this will become public).

Great work, this looks awesome and I am ready to end the contest and declare you the winner. I am new to logo tournament so prior to doing so, I want to confirm you will be delivering a full logo package, including: 1) the original vector source file created in Adobe Illustrator, 2) PDF that is also vector as well as raster, 3) JPEGs or PNGs which can be used in word docs / emails / etc, 4) The logos will come in three folders CMYK (for print), RGB (for web or tv) and flat black / white for 1 color imprints, 5) version using the Pantone Matching System, 6) provide a version of the logo without the tag line. Please confirm and I will move forward with declaring an early winner. Thanks.

Here the font is bolder (and a more blocky style – more "adventure" looking maybe. I'll leave that with you to review.

Here's the update. All suggestions have been addressed.
I'm also uploading another font option – both BlackJack and SHERPA will be a different font in other version.

I felt italicised for both gave it a sense of action/movement/excitement.

Thanks Charcoal, this is awesome and getting very close to being complete. Several changes I would like to see: 1) The font on blackjack needs to be changed, I don't know why but the current font does not seem to flow / work with Sherpa (the sherpa font is great, and the fonts between blackjack and sherpa should be different, 2) the Sherpa needs a bump to the right to create some white space between win and the heel, 3) the rope should lead into the backpack (which btw you nailed), 4) the sherpa needs to be refined / stylized (no helmet, keep stick, etc). I really like the direction this is going and with these changes I think we can finalize this logo. Thanks for the great work and all the effort.

Pack looks great. Can you produce a version where the suit rope is horizontal and separating blackjack and sherpa, with the sherpa on the right of the text. Also, please change tag line to "IT'S A BETTER ADVENTURE WHEN YOU WIN". Thanks.

I really like this logo, very nice work. I think the color of the "mountain" to the right of the spade should be changed to green (i.e., representing a profit / win). Would like to see a version where SHERPA is also displayed in the same green color. Plus a version with the changes above and JACK is displayed in red.

Thanks for the thoughts. I will take a look and see if I can come up with something worthy of presenting.
And yes, tag line looks a little choppy at that size. I will look at that. Note that the final artwork would be razor sharp of course, the jpegs we load here are a little bit soft in the small details.

I like the direction of this logo. A couple thoughts, is there a way to turn the box into a representation of the journey (from bottom left to top)? Your logo gave me the idea of creating a character "Jack Sherpa", would be interesting to see a version of the logo which aligns the font between Jack & Sherpa (to call out Jack from BlackJack, similar to what you did with the bold text in the current version). Would also be interesting to see a version of the logo which adds a line through the "S" in Sherpa to make the association with $. The font on the tag line is a little difficult to read, is it possible to clean this up a bit? Thanks for the responsive changes, I look forward to your next round of revisions.

One point is that if we go to the left with a suit this will make it a longer overall shape and not quite as close to the 2x1" but I will work on it and see how it goes.

I like the image of the mountain guide. Would be interesting to see a version of the logo with the mountain guide as white relief inside the spade suit (i.e., single large version of the spade suit of the left). I like the font for SHERPA but think the font and presentation of BlackJack needs some work.
