Blackburn Development, Inc.Logo Design Contest

We are a residential Real Estate Developer, we build custom homes. Our target audience are every day people who would like a custom home / rebuild, and real estate investors.

Strictly black, white, and/or grey.

We don't want another cheesy real-estate-esque logo. We want something very modern, and cutting edge. Preferably we'd like to come up with a benign design for the logo element, something completely made up. It can have something to do with 'burn' but in a creative way, no cheesy flames please. I have attached an example sign that we currently use in front of our construction sites (with the number blacked out) for reference. We are going to be making very large signs out of whatever logo we choose, so keep in mind that we need very large files!
