Our Ideas & Additional Information
I am looking to obtain a revision and rebranding of my current logo for a film production company.
I have attached our current logo for BLACK MEDUSA, as well as sampling of the direction we wish to go.
I am looking for a stenciled/ sketched/ stamp iteration encompassing a medusa similar to the stylizing below to be put over framed or triangular framed text also pictured below.
I am not interested in the headdress style of snakes--- for the image- I want something more symbolic- simply a woman and a single snake or some other form of symbolism to a "medusa"- not an actual medusa or atleast not an icon that mimics the classic version of a medusa.
Please site the reference images, they are simple, elegant, and symbolic with a type text or stamp style to the print. As if they were inked in an Ancient Greek or Roman time, yet look to be modern and fit the hipster trend.
For inspiration maybe a faceless woman or a woman with the face of a skeleton holding a snake, or holding a handful of snakes.
I would also look at the Columbia and TRISTAR Pictures logos on a google search- though they are more detailed and photo real or painted-- there print versions do fit the mold and style.
Not opposed to seeing a woman with snake on shoulders and around arm- mounted on a pegus.
There is an additional reference image of a Roman style sculpture body with a removed face exposing her skull with knees slightly bent, arrows randomly entering and exiting- we would ad a snake dangling over the shoulders— this is just one idea— I want to see other iterations.
For the text-- I want you to focus more on the particular font that fits and suits the icon design then its placement- we will manipulate the font several ways incorporating it to the design from triangles to diamonds, to circular outlining. We will at times also soley display the icon or text stand alone with out one another.
