Very cool concept! Really like the bird "circling" idea ... can we see some variations with it circling a world globe? That would underscore the international and world ocean components. And the text seems a bit too "heavy" for this organization. Bold enough to stand out and maybe the BA text more "integrated"? Also the sub-text would be better if stated "Binoculars and Cameras" versus the other way around. Just some ideas ... Thank you!
The type is definitely looking better! And the bird is great also. Can you make the sphere a real planet earth/globe? I think the treatment is a bit bland and could use more color and more contrast ... but not gradients and complex detail. Some of the uses will not support gradients or fine lines. Maybe a more simple use of color and contrast to make it jump more off the page? Thanks again!
I think you should focus on that one and now just try some variations as you see fit.
As an example, Diana thinks the bird is "wrong" so I asked her to provide a picture of an Albatross (quintessential globe circling bird) in flight. The URL for that is here:
And she's also distracted by the swooshing circle line under the bird. That will also make it easier to "see" the bird, just like when you dropped the continents from the top of the globe (in green).
Lastly, I'm having a hard time picking up the sub-title ... so you should try some things to make that more readable please.
You obviously do better with only a "little help" from us so you show us what you think would be some nice builds on your Entry 42.
Thank You, your feedback is very useful for me, hope my entry is right as your direction #62 #63 i change swoosh position, to make bird easy to see #64 #65 with previous swoosh #42 but more simple
We just ended the contest early as Diana pretty much fell in love with the Tropicbird and binoculars submission from ibot. So I didn't want to waste any more of your time. I knew where she was going to end up. :-)
But she obviously really liked your ideas also and I wanted to thank you for the excellent effort and your really cool concept of the albatross circling the globe!
GREAT work and hope to "see" you in another contest!
