(to be clear: We do definitely need to portray the protein. It's just not working with these overlapping layers and not sure how else to direct this to get to something that "hits it" for us.)
Thanks so much for all the variations. We know it's a challenge to design by "prescription." The tricky part of this is how to represent the protein under the overlapping layers. It's likely that it would have to be an abstract vs. more literal portrayal of the protein. The iterations have been very helpful but we are not sure this logo will work because of the protein part. We really appreciate all your time and effort; we are going to think about this. Thanks.
Hello, and thank you for this latest round of logos. Could we try this:
- Use one protein representation
- Place under the point of the bottom blue layer, so that the whole graphic resembles a broad (abstract) exclamation mark
- Try ribbon-like representation of the protein this time, as in style of 3 in the following sample:
Hi: Yes, I always wanted to submit if you have a request, please always feel free to ask if you want a tweak or modification. By the way, I will submit your latest request right after my breakfast.
Reminder that we should leave out the tagline for now. And so that would leave room for exploring placing protein at the point of the bottom blue canopy vs. lots of them spread out under it (or placing one that looks partially covered by the bottom blue canopy.) Thanks!
Thank you. Some additional direction as you work on next versions: We like how the logo shows overlap in the 3 canopies, and under that overlap would be where the protein is. While the 3 canopies being the same shape and size (but just different colors) is visually appealing, to really hit the visual metaphor we are aiming at, would it be possible to also see version where the canopies are different sizes (this would indicate different scopes of patents) as well as different shapes (this would indicate different types of patent claims)? Maybe the different shapes would get too busy, but we'd love to see it if you can work it out....in addition, feel free to show version with just different sizes as well. Thanks very much.
Hi again: We know this logo won't work in black and white because of the overlapping parts, so we would need to be sure it works well in grayscale. We see this in #198, but we don't think this will work adequately when the logo is used at small size; would need more contrast between the layers. Thanks for your time and effort.
This is interesting. Ideally we're looking for a logo that conveys "overlapping protection of biologic drugs." this has the overlapping concept down, and there is a "landscapy-y" aspect to it that ties well enough into the name...to make it a top contender we'd need to get at that idea of what the layers are protecting...literally, they would be protecting a protein drug. Keep in mind that successful logo will probably get at the main concept by portraying the idea abstractly (as you are doing here) vs. literally. Thanks for your contributions.
This one is interesting. the tree canopies are really dense and we worry the logo will look "blobby" when used at small sizes...but you're getting at something good. If the shade these trees cast reflected how much canopy they have....one casting more shade than the other...that would be good. And it's good they have some overlapping parts.
Hello: We like the idea of using more than one tree. But the idea would be to convey different types of tree canopies offering different types/levels of protection.
