Bingham Law, PLLCLogo Design Contest

Hello Designers. I have put in a mood board and a logo designed by a local marking firm. I am minimally satisfied with the logo. The firm is located in Wilmington and Bolivia North Carolina. We used the "Cape Fear Memorial Bridge" That spans the Cape Fear River for inspiration as I practice in the two counties that bridge connects. The logo is the bare minimum and I need more or different concepts. I want to look cutting edge and that I have put work into this logo. Something that will translate well in any medium including letterhead and business cards. Please help. If you need any guidance or want to ask questions please do not hesitate.

I would really love some point logos that are completely different than what I have posted. It is a law firm in coastal north Carolina. We have a few we really like but would like to see some without the bridge or sun.
