Slogan

What We Do
bingbangbong makes Outdoor Musical Instruments for Schools, Kindergartens and public spaces
Industry
Manufacturing & Wholesale
Color Preferences
We would like something that will work equally well in full colour and as a simple one colour outline print for packaging etc. We have used 'cadbury' purple as our standard previously but we are open to suggestions
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We have used the concept of 'stepping stones' in our original logo, Whilst we like this, it is not necessary to stick with that. We do like the idea of using a baby elephant as part of our branding to signify strength but also to reflect our client user group ages 3-10

Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Hi #1. with the elephant idea, I'm more looking for something with a strong 'outline' that can work as a 'brand' or 'stamp' moreso than an image. I had done some rough sketches - let me upload them. Also, If using chime colours they are (in order from large to small) Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue then Red. Thanks!

Ok I have uploaded some of the ideas that I was thinking about for the 'elephant' theme - these should be able to be 'branded' onto something (as in branding iron!) . The stepping stone theme did not upload first time but you can see it on the website www.bingbangbong.com.

@ #2 It's a little too 'circus' rather than stylised. It needs to pop 'baby elephant, strong but cute'.

There is no specific need to include an instrument in the logo nor any musical notes, we make all different types of instruments as well as 'urban play things' so we want the logo / name to stand alone.

Thank you!

#7 is very close to my idea. can the elephant be more 'featured', larger in relation to the text. The text should be very clearly legible, no musical notes though. Thanks

Hey everyone, these are great, very creative responses and all very appealing. I'm focusing in on a 'stampable' brand so I have selected those that will work as outlines. I really like the group of three elephants #12 and the single version both on top #26 and the one that is 'pushing' the brand name #14, at this point I'm torn between them but they are pretty close.

Is it possible to see just the elephant(s) without the text? My thinking is that we may wish to exercise options regarding text placement in various scenarios. Alternatively if it is allowed under the rules of the competition, it would be awesome to provide them as two separate files designed to work together in multiple configurations. If that's not permitted then it's likely that we'll be selecting just the elephant.

One thing that I liked from my own initial sketches was a little tuft of hair just between the ears, it might be too fine a detail for an outline but if it was possible to see that, I'd be happy.

Hopefully this is useful feedback, I'm very impressed with the overall design skill and creativity, thank you.

Dear Paul, thank you so much for this feedback.
We are working for you.
Is against the rules for the designers to make comments on the general area, but by making click on the design, you will access to the designer area, where you can have a more personal communication.

Thank you Melisari, you have been very helpful. I have made ontact that way.

The tufts of hair should be from the top of the head, a cutesy baby thing :) The line thickness looks good.

If it is not too late to introuce a variation, is it possible to see three (different-sized?) elephants placed as layers on top of each other but slightly offset? I will try to upload a photoshop file to replace one of the original uploaded or I will upload & link to an image on my webspace.

Hopefully it's not too much work to ask.

Thanks

Thanks again everyone for your submissions and creativity, I still find the elephant at #33 to be closest to matching my ideas, could the hairs stick up, one forward, one up and one backward rather than all pointing in the same direction - could they be placed at the highest point of the head or perhaps even on the downslope toward the trunk. If using a group of elephants, could the smallest one only have the 'tufts' of hair. I think that colour is not needed, I would like to be able to add that as a variation later on to match with the colours of the site or brochure or wherever I use the design.

With a group version, I did like the one with a small elephant trunk-up and the larger elephant trunk down.

Thanks again for all of your creativity. Almost there :)

Hi ...do you want us to just spin off the posted logos?(the elephants)....not make unique from these? I am confused as to what you want..

thanks so much..

Hi Tini,

The brief remains the same as the start and hopefully clarified through the comments - a 'stampable' outline of a cutesy baby elephant, no specific colour, it just needs to work as an outline. My uploads are my own sketchy examples simply to illustrate the kind of 'simple & stampable', effect that I have been looking for.

I thought I was doing pretty well with keeping up to date with comments and clarifications as we've gone along, apologies if I've not explained something well enough.

Thanks for your interest
