Entry #11 is very good... BMW puts the three colors on the M but having the stripes on an actual letter other than the M seems too hard to see. Is there a better way to incorporate those colors? Also, the grill looks great with the actual fins inside like in Entry #11 - not with the colors inside like in Entry #8. This is great work so far thank you!
Re: Entry #11 Just wondering if all the BIMMER letters were in "italics"...also if the "letter fill color" started with a light blue fill color, then faded (or transitioned) to dark blue, then finally to red??? The outline you used on these letters is very good.
Entry #18 is very good - It may be that trying to use the grill made the logo too complex - this one is great - clean and simple - - can you show me some options on the "auto" portion?
Entry #18: Can you fix the gap between the "I" and the "M", and the gap between the "M" and the "M" so that the angles are parallel to each other - same width of space where letters touch?
Regarding Entry #18: One last request: Could you put "AUTO" on the SAME LINE, in the SAME FONT as "BIMMER"? This is still our favorite logo. Thank you very much.
Hi, First of all - thank you for feedback and appreciation! I have to make some observations on my last entries, but before this I should say that I've started working on your logo after making some research - so I found out that the BMW font is custom-made based on Helvetica. So I made a custom font using the same Helvetica font, transforming some letters - M is the most obvious. Now, about my entries: #50 - the space between "I" and "M" is now fixed; added AUTO on same line. Font used for AUTO is Helvetica without major modifications - as you can see on "A" and "O", more rounded than "B". #51 - only a small difference: "E" on BIMMER is more obvious italic; on #50 and previous entries the gap between M and E is equal, but "E" looks more vertical than the other letters. I think it's just a matter of taste, but I thought you should see both variations and choose the one you like more. #52 - AUTO is now more custom-made - see the curves on A, U, O and compare them with "B" or "R" #53 - font used is Helvetica on all letters, except "M" which is the one used in BMW's M badges.
