Logo deigns 101 never use a photo. whom ever made the original logo should have known better, this can be fixed so that the logo and imagery can be enlarged any size without the problem of bitmap images.

We need access to the the high res photo used for the original design not the low res images you've given us to work with. NOT the knockout version the actual digital photo used if it was scanned from a print we would need the original scanned image

I can assure you working with the supplied files you will be very disappointed in the quality of the work because we cannot make something that looks great from lesser material.

Scott is right.. when enlarged, the photo part of your logo will look blurry and pixelated. Would you consider using a realistic illustration (vector) of Bill and Cindy? This would obtain a better outcome. All the best with your competition. :-)

I agree with you both. Unfortunately, this is the highest resolution I have of this photo. We are all still searching through our archives to see if we can find the original but so far no luck so I ask that you submit designs and hopefully we can switch out with a highres later. If we can not locate the photo Bill and Cindy are aware of the problem this will cause but have no other option.
