BI SourceLogo Design Contest

Thanks for your input! In this design, we do like the font that's used for the slogan.

But the logo itself doesn't seem appropriate. I look forward to any future designs you submit.

Thanks again... this one, the font is a little closer to ideal. We'd still need to explore other ideas for the icon, however.

Are you interested in an icon, or are you primarily interested in a wordmark? Do you have a preference of serif or sans serif font? Thanks.

Thanks so much- the two most recent designs have a more appropriate font. Good question: I think sans-serif will work best for us.

If we can find some fonts that are even more suggestive of precision & accuracy, that would be perfect.

As far as wordmark vs. icon, we are open to both possibilities but leaning slightly towards an icon (either pictoral mark or abstract mark).

Will play with some additional font options.

Thank you. The font and icon in #44 aren't quite what we're looking for, but we still like the icon in #11. The font will be the thing we'll look to narrow down. I noticed that the font used in other designers' submissions #18 and #37 is closer to the right look.

Oops.... one of the designs I referred to has now been replaced. The fonts we liked are in #18 and #45.

Any variations or tweaks you would like to see with these designs? Thanks.

Thanks! Yes, we have one thing to try: On designs #11 and #67, can we switch the colors in the company name.

So in #11, "BI" will be black and "Source" will be blue.

And #67, same thing... with the gradient still in place.

I changed the colors per your request. I also added some color variations of my current designs. I included some drop shadows to help the icons stand out. I typically refrain from using too many gradients and shadwing on the initial logo, because it doesnt always translate to all meduims. I encourage my clients to always be happy with their logo in B&W, and it usually only gets better with coloring effects. Let me know if you want any additional modifications. Thanks.

One quickie to ask: Can we get a redo of #108, without any drop shadows? I think that's a nice look overall, but wanted to see it without the shadows too..... thanks; I'd be much obliged.

Thanks! Yes- we gave it two more days, just to give some "breathing room" to request these minor revisions. The new end date is Tuesday night.
