Thank you! Your design with the pie chart is very appropriate for this brand. If we can develop that into an icon that is uniquely ours for the logo, that's a great start.
Here you go as requested , i did the adjustments to make the pie chart looks unique ,gave it more depth to look 3 Dimensional and the red part is the small portion and goes with the word " BI " , then the majority is blue reffering to the " Source " .
Its simple , clean , proffesional looking and also tech and suits the font used with it.
Hope you like it , will throw you some modifications on that one here , reverse the colors for the BI and Source and on Pie Chart.
Also will try putting the " BI " initials on top of the pie chart and so that it appears it was been cutten through the " I " part of it and the rest is printed on the pie chart top itself.

Do you think the icon is well developed to your expectations ? and uniquely for your logo ?
Adding details to the 3d chart , by the " BI " and the " I " part being cut on the chopped part of the chart , adds alot of detail to the logo itself , and as a whole icon its well tact together , i loved how it ended like now , hope you get the same feeling too :)
Good morning- I saw your comment on the main page too. Sorry it took longer than usual for us to review the logos today... there were more of them, so we didn't get to it as soon as before.
Yes, we like the idea of the 3-D pie chart! We selected both of the ones which have the icon next to the company name. I think the icon could be improved even more (but not sure how).... if there's something that can be done to make it look even more stylized, more unique, that would be great.
Also, I think we should try different fonts the company name. This font is pretty good, but not quite exact right for this brand.
Thank you for the new versions. At this point, it looks like we will probably choose one of the other designs because we have received many examples of icons (marks) that are more unique, more expressive. But I am still keeping your designs in our ranking, and we still have 2 more days to review more designs if you have other ideas too.
