Before we pick the finalist, do you want to try a different idea of the same logo? Though we like this, right now, this is lacking cleverness. Do you want to try?
You see in this logo if you remove the top layers of the cone, inside the “v” there is still a angular line and dot? Remove that dot also. Keep the small angular line and the leafs. Bring the words Berry’d Alive little closer to the Center
Assuming that you are not able to really develop further ideas on this logo I’m moving this out. However, I really liked this idea and if you can capture the “cleverness” of the idea and also keep it really clear as a brand identity, I am willing to consider working with you further on this. Let me know
We are a cafe with snacks and desserts too. We need to represent like that. Why aren’t you changing the concept but repeating the same ice cream cone? All designers are just revising designs without changing the concept. Why is it like that? Is it that my feedback matter is not correct?
Like the FedEx logo with the hidden arrow... that is clarity and mystery in the same logo.
Like the Amazon logo with the smiley that also doubles up as an arrow between a-z to indicate that they sell everything from A to Z and also with a smile. That’s a combination of clarity and mystery. Got it?
I’m looking for that kind of creative cleverness that makes a logo engage more with its observer
Here's a short story of what I am trying to achieve:
Your logo work for "Point Gaming". I think the letters "P" and "G" how you have incorporated into the logo is very clever. It is both clear (CLARITY) and mixed (MYSTERY). But it stands for Point Gaming. That is the level of creative cleverness I am looking for in the logo. Showing one raspberry and the name written alongside it is not really clever or creative right?
Maybe a different colour combination? Why aren't you guys getting really creative with design and only playing around with fonts and colours and letter positioning??!
This is simple in its writing style. What it lacks is a "punch" like a logo should have. So, could you try editing some element that makes it a real logo? An element that brings clarity to the brand being a cafe with desserts mainly, but at the same time adds a sense of mystery that leaves the observer wanting to know more about the brand and its offerings. Does that make sense or is it more confusing? :)
Im thinking that this one has a lot of potential. If you can eventually make it readable. Also... if you're confident of enhancing this, try coming up with newer more out-of-the-box concepts. That way, if we pick you to be the finalist, we can work on the concepts further. So I encourage you to not get stuck with a particular concept just because I rank it in the top.
Yeah... I really like the font. It needs some styling though. A clever twist to the logo that is subtle and one that makes the observer go, "Wow! thats a nice touch" when they understand the hidden touch and the story behind the design.
Im gonna think aloud with you on this one :)
How about... the "E" being just one long E. In the same font style, just long to stand as an E for both the words. Also with the V below the B, can the B be disguised (not too much, just a little) to be like a swirl above the V to symbolise an icecream cone?

Its a little tacky and gimmicky. Not clever.
I have extended the contest for 3 more days. Would you like to consider working on a completely new creative concept?
