Thank you for the opportunity to submit #9 and #10 for your consideration. Sophisticated, expensive, serious, and elegant—as requested. The shield serves as a stand-alone icon as well. Your feedback and requests are always encouraged and welcomed!
#49 and #50 — altered the top of the shield to suggest the top of a podium; a grad cap; a building. Almost subliminal, but a nice touch I thought I would share. Feedback and requests always welcomed. Want you to end up with a logo you truly love. Thank you!
Certainly! #81, #82, and #83 include both letters. Your feedback and requests are always welcomed! Trying my best to help design a logo you, the faculty, student, parents, and the community there in Des Moines will love and embrace as part of your new and lasting tradition. -Geoff (Pax)
I could, but another designer has already used a tree. We have strict rules not to copy. If you change/add-to your brief and ask that a tree be incorporated, everyone has a fair chance and I can create the logo you're requesting. Would love to accommodate you. Many thanks! -Geoff (Pax)
Enjoying this contest very much. Trying to keep in mind that this logo may be used on uniforms, other clothing, decals, mugs, seals, signage, etc. so the goal is to create something that reproduces well at any size (especially small; business cards and such) and can be embroidered well. If there's anything to consider as I go along, please share? Thanks so much. -Geoff (Pax)
#125 could you make Bergman Academy side by side? And the BA bold and the shield wider? We are looking for a logo that is bold and sophisticated but simple.
Thank you for the input and direction. For the first request, I've created and submitted: #132 — Bergman Academy side-by-side #134 — Bergman Academy side-by-side in a thicker weight of the font #132 — Bergman Academy side-by-side with a wider, bolder shield I am creating the circle-encased shield designs and will upload them soon. Many thanks!
#136 and #137 feedback is there is something with the crest that confuses the eye. Can we do a couple different options within the circle. Feedback is good on this one. Thanks!
Could we do a couple with just and A in the new shield. Someone had feedback that BA together looks strange and can be interpreted differently. Still trying to avoid a book, apple, graduation hat etc. Thank you for your cooperation!
Pax- below are some comments from our Board. Thank you for all my feedback on this. I'm managing 10 " decision makers" and it's not easy. 1. Tree inside circle with/without "Founded 1977"
2. "Tree as is" but with several font variations (do you like Trebuchet as shown in attached?)
3. "Tree as is" but reintroduce green as accent either for tree or "Founded 1977"
I'm creating new versions right now. I understand your task and I can empathize with the "logo by committee" dynamic. As a 25-year ad agency creative director, I'm way too familiar with it. It may help to remind them that once they choose a winner, I can tweak and revise after the contest to get it 'perfect'; all nodding heads around the board table. It may be there are too 'many' options within the preferred range. Let me know how I can help. -Geoff
I believe you can but before i give the full green light let's give them the evening to come back to the survey. I am 99.9% that we are good to go. I greatly appreciate your patience and effort in this contest. It's been tedious to say the least! Thank you!
You're more than welcome! I understand your task and appreciate what you're doing. Please know that neither you nor the contest have been an imposition for me at all. I'm happy to help. That's why I'm here and why I do what I do.
PAX i haven't forgotten about you! We have a board meeting tomorrow evening and we are discussing the logo. I can't seem to find out when my tourney ends? do you know?
Hello! Great to hear from you. Hope all is well. You have a day left in your selection period according to the info on the site, so tomorrow will work out perfectly. Please send a message if you need anything else. I'm ready to help in any way I can. Good luck at your meeting! -Geoff (Pax)
