The "b" "O" and "C" melted together gives impression of a combined "push-button" and arrow icon. Alternatively it could portray a "BeOnC" turning knob that can be turned clockwise to improve/increase the competence/skill/knowledge, when applied.
No 3D just some gloss and gradients
Font space adjusted to really underline the "Be On C" pronunciation, without making it three different words and keeping it together.
Hmm, just read an article on SVT (Swedish Televison site) and noticed that a similar icon/logo is already in use for the Swedish election autumn 2010. The logo is in pink and points to the right and has a somewhat extended point - otherwise they are quite/very similar.
I did not know this. But upon discovery I have to follow the Logotournament Guidelines and withdraw the entry, otherwise I risk a Logocourt case. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Combined "b" and "C" shape with "o" in the middle. With an additional element of the 'cut-out' part of the "C" that repeats at the end of the word - making a connection between symbol and word, as well as a forward flow.
Since the "C" pinches the small block - This is perceived as "exact" and "sensitive" something that requires skill and knowledge.
Hej, Thanks for these creative ideas. As you've probably noticed in my ranking of entries, I'm looking for a quite subtle/discrete approach and not too much symbolism, even if I do like the symbolism you described in entry #112.
Hej, See the general contest comment I just added, after extending this contest!
As you can see, your entry #183 caught my attention. I like the color and gloss, and think it would look great in white on black as well. I also like the fact the "o" now can be separated into an element/icon on its own; or do you see a problem with using it that way?
No I do not see any issues with using the "O" as a separate symbol for those instances where you just want to represent the company without the full name. I'm happy to make any future adjustments you need on the logo.
Slogan in upper-case and another font. Slight indentations on left/right side ti'll the centre line on the "b" and the "c" since I believe it would look a little peculiar if the slogan was the same length as the word. This way it fills its role as "subtext" yet it is centred with the gloss shape arching down.
