Beneath The Skin Tattoo & PiercingLogo Design Contest

We do custom tattoos and body piercings and have been in business for 14yrs. This new logo will be the center piece to a more in depth makeover to follow. We cater to all demographics since we are in a suburban area outside of Philadelphia. We believe in the healing aspect of tattoos and piercing. We believe there is a metaphysical aspect to it as well as the visual artistic side. We fit nicely into the modern idea of what people know as a tattoo shop but are continuing to push the boundaries as to what “tattoo therapy” means. We service many young people as well as old.

Our current logo is black, white and royal purple. Was hoping to change it to gold (not too yellow, like actual gold) or maybe an iridescent green but may want to stay with the purple. I am open to design suggestions with this. I am aware that the colors are usually trapped in black. It would be great if the logo could work on black & white backgrounds.

It would be great if the logo could work on black & white backgrounds so we can use it for different color t-shirts and possibly for our in shop paperwork. Looking for something fancy and elegant but not over the top. Filigree is sometimes used to help achieve the look. I would like the logo to be more horizontal then vertical and possibly a sweep to the main part of the logo or something dynamic . The main logo will read Beneath The Skin and the words Tattoo & Piercing can be smaller or even separated from the main text. The main text can be fancier then the secondary text but still fell like they are part of the same world. I would like it to feel like a tattoo shop logo but not be a typical cut and paste from google. I attached reference from the internet and the current logo and business card we use. I have full rights to my old logo but the other attachments I do not they are for reference only. Last, I am aware this may be a more intricate logo thats why I am opting for the “Plus+” option. We are looking for quality and experience.
