What We Do
We would like to create a lab logo. Our lab studies the genetic and neural basis of sleep and feeding behaviors in the fruit fly. The target audience is other scientists and prosepctive trainees interested in performing reserach.

A colorful logo would be awesome!
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We use the fruitfly (Drosophila melanogaster) as a model system and so incorporating one into the logo would be great! Since we do scientific reserach, incorporating things like DNA, microscope, pipette, or neurons would be great too. It would also be awesome to represent behaviors like sleep and feeding (and smell and taste), but having trouble conceptualizing on how to incorporate into a logo without it feeling pigeonholed.
