Beaver View Brew CoLogo Design Contest

are you interested in having an actual beaver in the logo or is that something you tend not to want?

At this point we're open to any design ideas. We plan to start ranking and providing better feedback when we get closer to 20 logos. We are not graphic designers and so we don't want to provide too much direction/limitation on the process before we see a good range of creative ideas.

Speaking is brewer #2 of our two man team. Really like what we are seeing so far! Brewer #1 and I will get together as soon as possible to collarborate and do an official ranking. Thus far my personal preference is design #8 and #6. Special-K...to answer your question we are looking for something that would be a combination of label material (#6) and something that would look great on a t-shirt (#8). An actual beaver in the logo is not a necessity. Personally I would like to see a few more traditional label oriented ideas. I like the barley and the addition of some woodsie items may be a nice touch...stream, trees...with the beaver not so prominent. Having said that the more abstract designs (#3 and #8) are great as well.

Brewer 1 (of 2) comment: We are not feeling any love for #5. The framing is ok for an emblem concept that may work on labels and T-Shirts, but the font combination and the beaver face just aren't doing anything for us. We also think that logo #1 is an extremely cool concept, but just does not fit our brand at this time.

We would still like to also see some representation of more outdoor / woodsie label concepts to evaluate that would also work on T-Shirts, Signage, Etc. as Brewer 2 cites in above comments.
