Hi - here's a quick entry. I thought it'd be kinda funny to show a simple campsite demolished by an angry bear (in a skirt, of course) - I think it gets the tagline across with minimal elements to make it too complicated. It'd also look pretty sweet on a tshirt :)

The style mimics a vintage 1940s brush / acrylic style to lend a tongue-in-cheek camp-y feel. Sort of a Smokey the Bear gone tragically wrong feel.

Thanks for your time & consideration

#13 - here's another, cropped version. I think the redwood trunks still give it the natural feel...I could probably add some low-hanging branches or some scaled, lineart trees to the background if you disagree, though.

thanks again

Josh,

Love the what you have done here. If you can enlarge the bar and make it more of the center of the image that would be perfect. The campsite is great but might take away from the bear. I think the style is perfect and the trees are exactly what I'm looking for. Can you enlarge the bear and have it facing forward?

Thanks!

I think the trees and overall feel is perfect. Just need the bear to be larger.

#14 - here's a quick revision I made with trees...finished it before I saw your comment...but it's there in case you were curious. I won't have the revised bear up until tomorrow. (I'm shutting it down for the evening - jut saw the contest and wanted to get a quick entry in)

thanks!

Thanks Josh. Looks great so far. Have a nice night. Looking forward to the updates tomorrow. You are very much in line with what we want. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I dont hate the campsite, maybe we can do the large bear with the campsite and one without. Thanks!

Josh can you also add our slogan, I'm thinking at the bottom. Our slogan is "You're goddamn right it is..."

I think if we could do proportion similar to #17 that would be great. Maybe the destroyed camp site somewhere in the background or off in the distance. The trees are perfect. Let me know what you think.

I should note I dont want the bear similar to #17 but instead like we discussed earlier. Only mentioned #17 because of the size of the bear and trees.

Here's a revised bear. I flipped the tent and pulled the grassy part down more to put the bear in the forefront. If you end up picking mine, I can change the tagline - I just try to keep my LT portfolio as non-offensive as possible.

thanks

Josh,

Thanks for the updated logo. Looks great. Any chance you can do a version with the bear similar to how we discussed yesterday? More of a blank stare like the last two bear images I uploaded for references? They should be included in the brief. Great job. Looks like we almost got it.

whoops - sorry. I thought you meant to have the bear's body straight-on. Yeah - that shouldn't be a problem. Might not look as mad though...we'll see.

Thanks Josh. Love the last one but just want to have a second option to look at.

Thanks again. Great work!

Here's a dead-on face. He retained the angry look better than I thought he would - so that's good. Let me know what you think.

thanks!

I like it. Now we got two very solid options. Last thing. Can you adjust his arms at some point to sit inward in a more natural position? Looks a bit strange as is?

yeah - the arms were deliberately out like that...sort of a bring it / reckless abandon pose. "Arms in" seemed kind closed / guarded / defensive and I was going for more bad-assery. It **is** more natural, though - I can work on that if you want them. It might not be until tomorrow afternoon though... (hope that's okay)

I like were your head is at and I agree. If you could do the arms the other way as well I think we will have everything covered. That way we will have a couple very solid options to make our decision with. Thanks again!
