BCI Construction Inc.Logo Design Contest

I really like your design but I am afraid the graphics overpower the BCI - which needs to stand out.

Please be aware that I am only one of 5 in our office that will be making the final decision on the logo. Each have their own 'favorites' for one reason or another. So the ranking is not set in stone.

Also - I know I have mentioned this to some of you, but the logo needs to be able to have two versions (darker colored backgrounds like the website and light colored marketing items). It also needs to be embroidered. So tiny lettering may not reproduce well.

I like the original design of your first logo much better. Perhaps just changing the font of BCI?

I have brought back #13. Not sure why I didn't keep that one.

Maybe less computer company looking fonts?

And it has to look good on black, too. This is one of my favorites from the start. And one of the owners likes it, also.

How do we make it bolder without losing the great design? Keep the original color scheme, please. I think that works best...for the white background, anyway.

Perhaps more white in the black background designs so they show up more?

How about similar font to the original BCI logo?

And I think I like the black BCI better for the White background. How does it look reversed with White lettering? Or light grey?

Ok...you have shown me that this design requires a simpler font. Now how about a boldness somewhere in between 208 and 199? Or is it because the logos are different sizes that 199 doesn't look as powerful?

I like the all lower case slogan, too.

Although I do like the arch...I think I will have to let it go for your design, huh? It works too well straight across like you originally had it.

I know it is too late to officially submit a new look - but I would like to see the blue colors in #221,222 in the #223,224, also. I think that might be the perfect combo. I really like the blue.

Can you still add or email me a version somehow?

My apologies, I can't show my design in other ways before the contest ends. because our rules do not allow for that :)

Thanks. I think we need to stick with the black because of the original logo. Can we add a little 'affect' to the black like the grey? I don't know what it is called. So it's not just solid black, in other words.

I meant the same 'effect' in the 'whitish grey' font for BCI on #224.

just a suggestion, you can extend the TOP 5 phase, if you need revisions of many designers:). May be easier than sliding the ranks :)
