I will rank you right after this email. If there is any way that I can get you do a couple of variations on this same design, I think you have a good chance at winning. Do not change the colors, they love them. Also, if you could make the swoosh in the center more like a road. I was also thinking maybe a version that is round. They liked the county but wanted it a little stronger.
They did not like the blue text "Butte County...." They wanted that more readable (darker color) and possibly go all the way across instead of stacking.
Please understand I would not be having you make these changes unless I thought you we a top contender. Thank you very much for responding. If you send me your email I can send you a copy of what I put together. It isn't great but it might be a good communication tool for you to dial it in.

#155 ... more enphasis in the map, also darker and bolder font for the text... and the "central swoosh" a little more white to make more the effect of "road"
#156 .... same but the center almost totally white... is just an option, not the best I guess.. but is your opinion the most important
#157 .... like #155 but with text in one line bellow the initials
#158 ... like #155 but with text along all the logo
#159 ... like #155 but the central swooshes more clear than #155 and obviously more enlighten than #102 (the original one)
#160 ... like #159 but with blue text for the initials

#161 and #162 a little color variation.... I know you like the colors, but I made these variations with a little darker colors and gradients... just for your evaluation
I am leaning toward #160 but the swoosh needs to road like. They had me change that. Maybe a version that is a little more literal (grey with some road lines in it) and one that is more interpretive (like #156 but that isn't quite doing it).
It would also see a version that is round not diamond. Very hard to use diamond.
Something caught the eye of the client on this one and they really can't capture it so I would like to push the lines a little to see if we can strike a cord.

Customer likes concept #176. Can we see this with only one diamond. They really like the color and road just please contain the road in the one diamond. Thanks. Should have a decision today.

hi sure, don't be worried I removed the other versions from the contest to make the portfolio clean as both logos are just versions of the same idea is allowed to send to you... I already have all those versions ready for your approval of the final files

Thank you for the quick response. So you can't include the other files in the same zip? I really appreciate you providing the second variation of the logo and all of the other file types (very nice touch). I am ready to give the final approval, I guess I am just not sure why the other files can't be included in the ZIp you sent?
