Sorry, I was tied up in meetings all day yesterday. Both of these look great! I'll go ahead and select the winner - thanks so much for working with me on these!
Can we try some adjustments with the plant please?
Let's make the whole thing a little smaller so that it does not touch the borders of the Louisiana map.
Also, I'd like it to look like a young growing plant. Maybe add a slender, almost like "waist" to it, and make the upper leaves a little smaller? It's kind of hard to explain but just making it look a bit more tender.
There's some concern about the detailed nature of the tree and the boundary of the image of Louisiana, because this logo will need to be printed on shirts and vehicles.
Will you please:
1 - soften the border of the Louisiana image to make it more product printer friendly?
2 - swap the tree for something similar to the "Abstract Plant" file that I just uploaded?
The plant doesn't need to be exactly like the one I uploaded. Use your judgement on the sizing, and the ratio of sizing between leaves, trunk, and roots so that it works well inside the Louisiana image.
I can't actually change the contest flow other than selecting a winner and closing the contest. We'll just keep yours in 1st place until the finalist phase ends.
Here's what I'd like to see on the next revision:
- make the tree branches less uniform (the bald cypress trees we have are irregular in their branch/canopy structure.
- Make the green a slightly darker shade
- Move the image of Louisiana + tree to the right end of the logo, rather than the left end
- Justify the "COMPLETE OUTDOOR SOLUTIONS" to run the full length of the logo and make it slightly larger font
- use the font from #116
I'm really ready to pick a finalist, and would like it to be yours, but we will still have work to do in trying some different alignments, colors, fonts, etc. as well as changing the tree image.
If I choose you as the finalist, will you be able to commit to working with me on the needed modifications to drive to the final logo?
We'll also need some different versions once we have the final product, so that we have a monogram-friendly version, etc.
I've received some additional feedback and would like to modify the Louisiana/tree a bit.
A) Can you keep the "swoop" separator inside the boundaries of the Louisiana image?
B) I like how clean the tree is, but can you try to make it a bit more of a bald cypress looking form, and a little smaller so that it doesn't touch the borders of the Louisiana image?
This looks really good! The image of louisiana is a little off though... It's not that straight on the right side. Would you be able to adjust it so that it matches the proper borders on a map?

Also, I like the root structure on this one, can you put these roots on the other plant in 192?
That way, they'll both have the exact same root structure and positioning, and only the tops will be different.

Will you please shorten the trunk a little to bring the roots up off the bottom of the Louisiana map?

I ran another AI generation, and came up with this: https://1drv.ms/i/c/4052eab9bab11067/EQH7U54r_SNIka4l7VA7ReYBy9QzlEhS7aK67B3xPCxDqQ?e=gwdCqU

Here's a link to the abstract plant file if it's difficult to find in the contest files: https://1drv.ms/i/c/4052eab9bab11067/ESc7prXpSiFIoJtx5ZOsL70BsMIJCueC6rt6KhD3kQ9WYA?e=RDSI3G

This is a logo from another business, which has a good example of the cypress tree: https://1drv.ms/i/c/4052eab9bab11067/EWcQsbq56lIggEAuNAAAAAABOJql5FAMpMHiqryt5APXUg?e=0g4kbZ

I see that it's evening time where you are. How much longer are you working today?

Do you like blue roots at the bottom of Louisiana in #128?

Here's an image search for inspo on the bald cypress: https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=bald+cypress&form=HDRSC3&first=1

I think the Louisiana with the tree is very good. No adjustment on that part.
