Here are some of my proposals. Instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as branding stamps, watermarks, shirt badges/embroidery etc.
I've started in its simplest form, monotone ... I've always been a believer if it works in this, it will work in colour. And also shows that it can work for things like newspaper print etc.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Hi there, I love your #18 and #19 designs; however, there are a bit TOO rustic and masculine. We need a bit more simplicity and elegance. I think this would be an absolutely wonderful design for a whiskey/beer bar! I like the addition of "Est. 2015" as well.
Thanks for the great feedback and comments, always appreciated!
Would be my pleasure ... And here are a few new iterations; #68, #69, #70 and #71 Making it a bit more elegant by using thinner and cleaner fonts and also experimenting with the lines.
We are still deciding. I'm not sure if you can still submit, but I would love to see #71 with all black lettering. Do you have any other ideas on how to get a small pop of green?
Not a problem at all, more than happy to work up some options. However as its in Judging mode only the designer ranked in 1st is able to submit changes / new submissions. That said, you're able to swop other designers around and into first, in order to get additional changes from them during this stage.
Thank you, I love #134 but would like to see a few changes. "Kitchen and Bar" instead of Restaurant and Bar. Also, I think that the fork in the background is a bit hard to make out. Try with the brighter green, and perhaps a different fork or knife image. For a knife, I would want to see a chef's knife- a larger and very sharp knife, not a dinner knife.
Hope that makes sense! I think I have to choose this evening.
And here are a few new options; #135, #136, #137, #138, #139, #140 and #141.
I've tried a few different fork icons, and in different positions. Also a couple using a chef's knife. And then with each one, I've tried different shades of green - all a bit brighter than #134.
Thanks. #143 is still favored over the new designs. This will be tough. The only other suggestion I have is to make the lettering for the surrounding words a tiny bit bolder.
