What We Do
Baxter's 1892: An upscale after-dinner entertainment venue/bar featuring jazz bands and blues, serving high-end cocktails, small plate appetizers, and desserts. Target demographic is 30-60 year old, upper-middle class male/females in a mid-size town in the coastal North Carolina region. Think doctor/lawyers/professionals. Logo to be used for all marketing, menu covers, outside signage (sand-blasted wood sign), and any other items related to the business. The font used MUST BE Western Railway JNL, as it matches the historic sign already on the building.
Industry
Color Preferences
Black, Grey, and White. The logo will probably be gold pressed on menu covers. We will also use the logo on a sand-blasted wooden sign, which will then be painted black. All of our print/marketing material can have shades of black/grey/white. However, the logo needs to be used in various formats, therefore can also translate into one flat color (such as black).
Our Ideas & Additional Information
- The upscale bar/restaurant is in a historic building built in 1892, the "Baxter Building".
- There is a Seth Thomas clock built in the early 1900's in front of the building, which is a registered national historic landmark. We need to incorporate the clock in the logo, as it will be the buildings main identifier. (See attachments)
- There is a sign on the building that simply says "Baxter's". The font is Western Railway JNL. We need to use the same font to keep consistency. It it also attached.
- Also attached is a logo idea. By no means do you have to use it to build on. We're interested in whatever idea you can bring us.
