Uniquedesign - thanks for the #7 submission! I think I like the font you used for "Bauman Consulting LLC" best of all the submissions so far. People have been going with the trendy modern looking fonts, but I'm really hoping for more of a classic/formal feel. As for the BC aspect of it - It is a cool idea, but I don't think it does that much for me. I unfortunately can't put my finger on why though. I think actually part of it is that the "C" is so prominent, and I guess some part of me doesn't really associate the C with the company as much as the B. Does that make sense?
This new series (#20, #21) is much better! By the way, as of this second, I ranked #20 as first, and #21 as 5th. Don't take this as one is vastly better than the other - I pretty much am working with the notion that they are identical - my ranking system has just been to move near duplicates further down the rankings.
I definitely like the capital "B" (#28, #29) better than the lower case "b" (#27, #26). I seem to like the blue better than the red. I like both the white background version, and the blue background version - I could envision using both of them, in different scenarios.
Some small part of me thinks the shape of the capital "B" looks like breasts though. I wonder what that says about me.
Here is an idea you can try to play with if you want.
I really like the font and colors in #30 - but so far none of the icon things next to the text have really jumped out at me. So, here are some ideas you can play with if you want.
And then final idea, is just something more on the web/technical side - so something along the lines of web pages, computer network, digital stuff, etc. Not really a concrete idea there, just some vague ideas to maybe build into the two other ideas
#73 - #74 - yeah, those don't do much for me. I think your best bet may be to try some different "B" treatments of #65. Specifically, leave the "Bauman Consulting LLC" just as you have it, and probably even leave the Diamond shape (but not absolutely necessary) - but just work on different "B"s. Of course if you want to try more totally different ones (like #73 and #74), I'm always happy to get them. But so far, the closest one that feels right for me has been #65.
#81 - Woh. I really like this one! Nicely done. On my current screen, the stuff in the background is very light colored - it could probably afford to be just a bit more pronounced - either thicker lines, or darker color. I don't think I'm crazy about the "M" and "A" being higher than the other letters - I feel like this makes it a bit too "cute".
Can you give me your honest opinion on behalf of Designers? I'm thinking of just starting to toss a bunch of designs into the "not interested" bucked to just clean things up since it is getting hard for me to manage all of the designs. These would be older versions of ones that I do like (but there is a new one that is definitely better), and versions that are just on the wrong track. Are designers offended when CHs do this?
For example, with yours, I was going to toss old versions: #81, #84 and ones that I am definitely not interested in: #75, #78, #79, #80
Can you make a version of #88 with the following changes: - use the color scheme from #82 - Specifically, the brown background, and the gold gradient color for either the lines or the text. Then perhaps white as the third color? Anyhow - generally the same color scheme as #82 - Make the "Consulting LLC" a bit larger. - Is the "N" in Bauman intentionally larger than the other letters? Your call on that one - it seems a tiny bit strange to me that the N is bigger, but I may be ok with it.
Is it just me, or does #147 have a tiny bit of a drop shadow? If so, can you try that on the new #149 as well (including the changed spacing as per the previous comment)
uniquedesign - I've started asking people to submit me some of their ideas in standard colors, so I can more easily compare one to another. For yours, can you post: #154, #166, #128 And have them be only white text (no gradient), and a solid background of #79784c Thanks!
