BatangaLogo Design Contest

Thanks for the submissions thus far. Most of these appear to be mainly the use of different fonts, which is nice, but we would like to see some design elements, as well, sort of like #8 (though we are not wild about the moroccos). Sorry if we failed to make that clear enough in the contest brief. So a combination of word and design would be the best direction. We would like to avoid black as a primary design element, particularly black and red combination; even though that's a great combo, we think says "Spanish" and our concept is more generally Latin, with key focuses on South America and Caribbean.

We should also stress that the word part of the mark should be very clear and easy to read.
