What We Do
Main focus is real estate auctions. We also have a large multi family rental (approx 300) business, and traditional real estate listings and sales. We have been in business since 1936, we are a 2nd generation family business, the founder, Hack Ayers passed away in 2020 at the age of 84 and worked up until the last 6 months of life. We are located in the mountains of east tennessee and on Norris Lake. We want to update our logo, so keeping some of its bones but enhancing and modernizing it.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are the oldest real estate company in a rural East Tennessee County.
Our roots are steep in Moonshining, our grandfather was killed by a state trooper protecting his shine. Our founder, Hack Ayers, wrote a book called Hills, Deals, and Stills.
Everyone knew Hack by his hat he always wore. Hack was first to develop Norris Lake, so I think something incorporating our current logo with lake, mountains, houses, red barn,
or key would work. I want to keep something similar to the logo now, but replacing the gavel with something more encompassing.
A memorial to Hack is here https://www.ayersauctionrealty.com/project/photos/51304
to get an idea of who he was, his 3 daughters and their husbands run business now. *We have decided that we do not have to have something similar to present logo, let your imagination run wild. However, it does have to look sharp in a newspaper add along with a full color brochure & clothing items. Something that translates that we auction, sell, and rent real estate.

After speaking to my partners, they don't think it is extremely important to stay similar to our present logo and we think something that says we sell real estate is better than the hat. Thank you, very talented bunch of graphic artist.
