Our Ideas & Additional Information
AWC3 or the Alberta WaterCourse Crossing Collaborative (AWCCC) is a not-for-profit society that is comprised of professional resource managers, government agencies, academics, First Nations Communities, Biologists, Road Owners, and Industry Managers.
IDEA: the A and W can represent trees or mountains and the 3 C's can represent the Culvert watercourse crossing.
CONCEPT: The roadway has a watercourse crossing that is a culvert and the stream flows through the culvert (under the road) but it is hanging or perched at the outflow end so there is a vertical drop where the stream flow drops down into the creek - this vertical drop is a barrier to fish movement and other aquatic species so they cannot move upstream past the vertical drop of water.
It would be nice to have a ROAD, a Culvert Crossing, and a Stream in the logo.
the Logo can have Alberta WaterCourse Crossing Collaborative Written underneath or AWC3 in it.
