For us there's really three elements to the piece: the icon, the brand and the tagline. We'll use them as a single piece for our website and ads, but we'll want to use the icon (AJS) as our ID piece when we can't use the entire piece bc of available space (like a favicon). Is that permissible? Also, would you be inclined to work with us on other projects such as websites, survey design, font standardization, etc.? Thanks. 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #467 let me know which one do you like the best Thank you 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #468 Withdrawn and the gray level for this one is 100% it is pure black for the slogan 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #467 Hi, the point is to make the slogan more darker??, am I right? the darker is 70% 4 years ago jacton commented on #450 Withdrawn We checked 450 against our website and discovered the weight of the gray color in the tagline looks almost identical to the weight of the fonts in the nav bar directly under it. We'd like to see the tagline in 450 as darker so it isn't overlooked against the nav bar. Could you take a look at the nav bar and offer a darker 450 tag line or other 450 solution? www.theaveragejoesurvey.com Thanks! 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #450 Withdrawn Great!!, you are welcome 4 years ago jacton commented on #450 Withdrawn Yep... that's what I was looking for! Thanks. 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #450 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago jacton commented on #447 Withdrawn Love the v's! One more request and I'll shut up for a while: in order compare the new stylized version, could I now see a version of 447, but with 291's round icon? Thanks! 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #447 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago jacton commented on #433 Withdrawn Sorry -- could I also see both v's stylized (Average and Survey)? Thanks! 4 years ago jacton commented on #433 Withdrawn Could I see this with the icon from 438? I think it's smaller and without the pie design in the background. Thanks. 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #433 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago jacton commented on #431 Withdrawn Yes, but the icon still feels oversized. 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #431 Withdrawn did you mean like this? 4 years ago jacton commented on #429 Withdrawn Could I see it with the icon smaller -- more in proportion to the Average Joe "side" and with the icon positioned like a stop sign, with the top/bottom oriented as parallel? Thanks. 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #429 Withdrawn Updated, let me know your feedback please Thanks! 4 years ago jacton commented on #291 Withdrawn This is such a strong piece I hate to monkey with it but am still looking for something proprietary. Could I see the AJS icon in an octagon... the idea conveyed being "Stop here." I don't want it in red so much as a subconscious suggestion. I also wonder what a couple of stylized "v"s would look like -- where the right ascender of each forms a line halfway over the "e" net door. I also think the piece is constructed around threes: the words, there initials bit four tag line words; since "No Lean" is essentially the same thing as "No Spin", I'd like to see the next version without "No Lean" but the tag line a bit darker. These are just ideas to see if any of them enhance the piece. Thanks! 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #408 Withdrawn how about this one? 4 years ago jacton commented on #291 Withdrawn This design hits all our simple/honest/humble buttons. But the three words are common (our fault) and will be hard to trademark without something proprietary. Think of some additional element, color variation, modification that gives us a proprietary mark. Thanks! 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #291 Withdrawn Hi, any other suggest for the design, maybe the color or the font? 4 years ago jacton commented on #291 Withdrawn Wow! Nicely done. Love it! The drop shadow in the icon acts like a shadow off the brand. And the tag line is a very nice foundation for the piece. Well done!! 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #291 Withdrawn what about this one? 4 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #288 Withdrawn did you mean like this? 4 years ago jacton commented on #246 Withdrawn I like the cursive font as it is readable at a glance. Could I see it without the green box in the b.g.? And I'd like to see an icon margin left that ties it all together. The tag line should be all sentence case. And we need some color to make it less stark. Green or blue or gray. See if you can't tie the icon in with the brand using a common color. Nicely done! 4 years ago
