my symbols is an "A" that is the abstract representation of the view of the part of the bridge that support the bridge... in this picture http://www.traveladventures.org/continents/northamerica/images/brooklyn-bridge08.jpg you can see what I mean (sorry but sometimes is better a picture that a lot of words) is the view that a person that is in front of the bridge has... also the shadow bellow is like the reflection in the water
